What guarantees that only eligible voters cast a vote?

0

eBallot ensures that only eligible voters actually cast votes by requiring the voters to login with unique usernames and passwords before accessing the voting system and ballot. After the voter has logged into CUConnect with their IdentiKey, CUConnect passes an eligible username and password through to eBallot. eBallot uses these credentials to determine eligibility to vote. After each vote is cast, the voters record is deactivated from the eligible voter list. Voters, who have voted and try to login again, will be restricted from viewing the ballot and will be notified that their vote has already been cast. Additionally, because the system requires a login, voters attempting to vote using an invalid username and password will be denied access to the ballot.
