What Groups Make Up SPEC?
Often people think about the OSG benchmarks only (sometimes the CPU benchmarks only) when they hear “SPEC”, but we evolved into an umbrella organization when the High Performance Group and the Graphics Performance Committee joined. OSG was the ‘original’ starting point of SPEC, and the CPU benchmarks are probably the best known of SPEC’s benchmarks, but there is a lot more to us now than just processor tests for workstations.
