What Great Historic Buildings Are There In Verona?
Verona is home to a number of ancient monuments and historical buildings dating from the Roman period to medieval times. The historic buildings at Verona have withstood the centuries well and are in a better condition; UNESCO has declared the entire town as a world heritage site. One of the most famous monuments in Verona is the Arena, a Roman amphitheatre built way back in 30 AD; it is the third largest of its kind and is still in use today mainly to host fairs, events or outdoor operas.
