What great computer parts can i get cos i want to build a computer.GAMING COMPUTER?
– Wait ’til mid-November and then ask. Prices will be different than they are now and new hardware will be out. – $700-$800 will get you a nice gaming computer, if you pick parts well. The person who said e7200 and 8800gt is right on the money as to what you could expect to get for that budget, now. – Be a bit careful about getting one of those “barebone kits” that some vendors sell. My opinion is that it’s a way for a vendor to take some crappy parts that nobody wants, bundle them up with a few good components to make the whole package more appealing, and then present it as a great bargain. – Since you have until November/December before you actually buy stuff, spend the time between now and then doing a bit of research on your own, so you won’t have to blindly take the word of people on Yahoo Answers as to what parts to get. Look at sites like anandtech.com, techreport.com, hardocp.com, etc and get some idea what’s out there, read some reviews, browse the forums, etc.
