What Graphics Card would be good for my 2.4Ghz Singel Core CPU?
hi mate its good to see guys taking their processor and memory into consideration when looking for a new graphics card,since a good graphics cards performance is largely affected by the processor and memory speed as for a card that will run well with your specs,well the athlon64 3400+ is a decent processor and still capable of running some of todays games,i would compare it to the 3ghz pentium 4 and i have a system with the p4 ,2gb ram and a geforce 7900gs and this can play crysis on medium detail and assassins creed on medium aswell so for you i am going to recommend a nvidia “7” series card,and this is because 1. the athlon64 series of processors wer released around the same period as the nvidia 7 series cards and will combine well together giving you maximum performance and frame rates…and 2. the 7 series nvidia cards have dropped in price with the release of the “8” and “9” series nvidia geforce cards so you can save some money this way so for the card(s),the first i am recommend
