Printable Version There are many places to explore grants available for projects that serve to increase the representation of individuals with disabilities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, including the following: • philanthropic organizations, • large private companies, • existing funded programs, • state and local government, • and federal programs. There is no standard method to approach philanthropic organizations and private companies. It is important to respond appropriately to a specific organization’s goals and procedures. Making a personal contact is often helpful. Consider working with existing funded programs; they may even be able to help fund activities that support their goals.
