Students in the interdisciplinary PhD program are automatically members of the Doctoral Student Association. This association is supported by the student activity fees you pay each semester and provides opportunities for all students in the doctoral program including the opportunity for travel support to professional conferences and the use of laptop computers. Student Government Association: Senate The Student Government Association provides an orderly method of government representative of all students that acts on the will of the majority while protecting the interest of the minority and stands for all students of the University of Missouri-Kansas City in all matters that concern them.
