What Grade of Ply?
Ply is graded based on the finish of the two sides. AC is a fine finish on the A side and a rougher finish on the C side. Usually builders will put the A side on the interior and finish it natural and the C side on the exterior and finish it with paint. Even if you use BC it’s still the same quality wood, the B face is just not sanded quite as smooth as the A. Always scrutinize your ply selection, because it varies. One dealer might have a batch of good BC that is of a better overall quality than a bad batch of AC at the dealer down the road. This is particularly true with airpockets and splits.
