What Gov web site lists a persons savings bonds by Social Security number?
Answer Hello Tony, To the best of my knowledge, there is no place where you can obtain a list of savings bonds based on your social security number, any place on the Internet. Here is a procedure that many people use to get an “Official List” of all of their Savings Bonds along with each bond’s current status. (i. e. Active or Cashed.) If there are Active bonds on that list, then you can request that they be sent to you. The more information that you can supply the more successful the search will be. If you can provide at least your name, social security number and address at the time when the bonds were purchased, you have a very good chance of the government locating your bonds. You should submit your request/inquiry to the Treasury Department, Bureau of the Public Debt – on their official form – which will be prepared for you. All you need to do is sign the form in the presence of a Bank Officer or a Notary Public and mail it in a pre-addressed envelope that will be provided. By the
