What good acting schools are there in the Dallas Fort Worth Area?
Best thing to do, especially when starting out fresh, is taking acting classes so good job on that choice, and start just gaining experience. Most on-going acting classes should let you audit the first class (i.e. sit in on your first class for free). If they don’t let you, personally, unless you have good-to-honest knowledge that they’re worth the money, I wouldn’t bother with them, you’re only beginning as it is. So check out bunches of different classes, sit in on them, and see which one you’re most comfortable with. Acting class is where you get to let everything down and grow and learn, so being comfortable is a must. Next, start gaining experience. Go out and get all the experience you can get… sign up for extra work, paid or non-paid, it doesn’t matter because the things you pick up on set are priceless in your experience. There are some yahoo groups you can sign up for, I think it’s called Dallas Film Commission … I don’t remember, but it’s DFC. They’re always listing stuff
