What gods exist in TerVarus?
There are ten traditional gods in the TerVaran pantheon, each of which espouses a particular philosophy, though there are often many interperetations of those philosophies. Some of these gods are mutually friendly, while others are quite hostile to one another, and this is echoed among their followers. The deities themselves are described in the Religion section of the Compendium. Each god is aware of the actions of every mortal in TerVarus, whether or not that mortal is counted among that god?s followers. A character who consistently offends a given god is unlikely to be able to join the ranks of that faith, and may well find himself cast out of a faith which he is already a part of – the faithfulness of a god?s followers affect the power of that god?s shrines and priests, and the priests are liable to take a very dim view of those who frequently stray from the god?s teachings.
