A leg was broken off an unglazed porcelain cherub at Christmas. It is a clean break but I am anxious that, although an initial reassembly of the two pieces with glue may seem satisfactory, the glue will discolour over time leaving the cherub with an unsightly yellowish-brown garter! Please help – this is not a valuable item but is of great sentimental worth. Thanks!
