What geological maps and data are available?
The following data are available as both maps generated online and as data to download: • 1:625,000 solid and drift geology • 1:250,000 solid and drift geology • 1:50,000 solid and drift geology, mass movement and artificial ground • the BGS Lexicon of named Rock Units For a more detailed description of each of the datasets see the Products Available page. Offshore mapping is not included in this licence agreement. It has been mentioned in discussions but there are no immediate plans to make this data available through EDINA.
