What geographical areas are particularly important for Fluke–North America, Europe, Asia?
A. Fluke is a global company, so all of these geographies are important to us. While our corporate headquarters and engineering/operations center is in Everett, WA, we have significant presence and manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia. Q. Jim Lico, executive VP for Danaher, has said that your experience will be invaluable as Fluke strengthens its traditional business and expand into new markets. Can you comment on any new markets Fluke might enter? A. Right now we are focused on growing our thermal-imaging and indoor-air-quality products lines. Where we go in the future will be determined by the needs of our customers and where we feel we can add value.
