I hope you realise how difficult becoming a doctor is. Unless you’re clever enough to be certain that you can get 4 A/A* grades at A-level I would recommend having another back up plan in case you don’t get into a medicine course. There aren’t any specific subjects you need but do triple science if you can as this will make your science A-Levels less of a jump from GCSE. To get high A-level grades it is best to go to a strong academic sixth form where you will be among equally ambitious students. To get into one you need a strong academic mix of subjects; languages are always highly regarded as are humanities (history geography etc.).
