You need to get at least a high B in a subject at GCSE to take it up to A-Level. Doesn’t matter what the subject is. As you want to be a forensic scientist you should definitely take chemistry (that’s the basic foundation for all science, in the opinion of uni) and probably bio too – and then something applicable like maths or english, and general studies – though no one counts that as an A-Level.
