What gap is needed between the wall and the downpipe?
The 1.5 inch standard distance allows Rainsmart to be easily fixed, so it’s important you buy the two standard pipe brackets which provide this gap. (Most DIY stores or builders merchants sell these.) Q: Will it fit SQUARE down pipes. A: Not this size. The size SPECIFIED HERE is for British standard round downpipes. Being a flexible sleeve, it will fit any shape downpipe but square downpipes require a larger sleeve size (other dimensions the same).
