• Course presenters and assistant presenters must hold the Yachting Australia Instructor qualification (NCAS Sailing Level 1 or above) • Course presenters must be currently financial and register with Yachting Australia • Course presenters must hold a course presenter or train the trainer qualification. This may be Certifcate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or Certificate IV Training and Assessment • Course presenters are appointed by their MYA and approved by Yachting Australia Alternatively, presenters with a specific skill (not meeting the other requirements above) may be asked to present one module of the course eg Risk Management or Administration. In these circumstances the course presenter is still responsible for the delivery of the course content and assessment tasks and should be present.
