What funding is available for Workforce Development?
There is a significant amount of money included in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for training and education at all levels. Michigan has already received applications for a variety of categories funded through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). There is money targeted at adults, youth, dislocated workers, etc., $136.2 million in funding for MichiganWorks! agencies at the end of April.
