What functions do trading platforms serve such as Charles Schwab, National Financial Services and Folio?
These are all trading platforms or institutional investment advisory accounts that may be used by Omaha Advisors or a third party money manager to manage an account. A trading platform physically holds any securities or cash. Omaha Advisors never has custody or possession of client money or securities. Money and securities are held at one of the above platforms or directly with the mutual fund, annuity or third party money manager’s brokerage or advisory account.
