What functions do the roles which are listed on the registration screen encompass?
“Clinician” includes the following: • Licensed Practitioner (MD, DO, DDS, DMD, PA, ARNP, Midwife, Podiatrist) • Licensed nurse (RN, LVN, LPN) • Medical assistant (nurse’s assistant, CNA or RNA) • Other service provider (acupuncturist, pharmacist, therapist, chiropractor, medical technicians in radiology or ultrasound)”Administrative Worker” includes the following: • Billing specialist • Referral coordinator • Office manager • Office worker (receptionist, customer service, admitting)
Roles are used differently by each site.
