What functionality does Assured PKI provide?
Assured PKI enhances the Microsoft Security framework and simplifies the deployment of the Public Key Infrastructure provided by the Windows environment. It works seamlessly with the existing MS CryptoAPI providing you with features and capabilities that make your security infrastructure scalable and manageable. With Assured PKI you can become your own Certificate Authority and decide on the issuing and revoking of certificates. It provides the capability to integrate your organizations existing directory services thus saving on effort, time and money. Stronger security is provided by the use of Dual Key pair. The Assured PKI compliments the MS Crypto API and provides for centralized key generation and Key Backup and Recovery. A “one time unique pin number” achieves a high level of trust for registration of new users. Assured PKI allows the administrator to locally and remotely manage digital identities without becoming a full-time security evangelist.
