I just moved to Saint Charles, and Naperville is my favorite potential place to move once our lease is up! It is a beautiful city. I was looking online for some fun things to do, and it looks as though there is a comedy club in Naperville. Also, if you’re interested in having Chicago-style pizza, you must visit Gino’s East! They have hands-down the best pizza (or so that’s the consensus of everyone I know!) I’m not sure where you and your friend are from, but Chicago is only about 30 miles east of Naperville. If you decided you want to do something in the city, it wouldn’t be too far of a drive. Have fun!
