What frozen fish is safe for sushi?
None. Freezing changes the texture. The only way you even have a chance to have safe and fresh fish is to buy it from a trusted fish market. Supermarkets are no longer safe in the US since they buy food from China and as you know there is little testing and inspection for the last 8 years. PS I would like to see the look on a Japanese person’s face if you asked them that question! The whole point of sashimi is the fresh and delicate flavor of the ocean etc. Also, a recent study in Seattle, found that 100% of wild salmon have round worm that can infect people. The Japanese are very particular which part of the salmon is used (Just the firm part of the tail). Americans not so much… Read up before you risk your health…or of your friends.
