What frequency do the RFID tags use?
Active tags use the 433.92 MHz frequency, 2.4 GHz for interrogator/tag wake-up, and 10.525 GHz for the motion sensor frequency. The newer 654 tag uses 123 KHz for wake-up and 433.92 MHz to transmit data. Back to Question List • Can I attach it to metal? Yes, most tags can be attached to metal. When attached to metal surfaces, non-conductive spacers may be placed between the metal and the tag to minimize the loss of read range. Regardless of spacing, there is usually some range loss. Active tags typically have little loss of read range when attached directly to metal. Back to Question List • What is the Data Rich Tag? The Data Rich Transponder (tag) has 128 Kbytes of usable memory. The tag is designed to be reusable. The tag provides an indication of low transponder battery power to the interrogator. The tag has a Neodymium magnetic mount (to be ordered separately), and a Mounting Bracket (also available separately) with two holes on bracket for tie-wrap attachment. The Mounting Bracket
