What freebies like competitions and stuff actually work? ?
Genuine consumer competitions do work. I have won at least three holidays and many minor prizes in the past. Be warned, however. The scratch sheets in many publications are not worth doing. They generally require you to phone a high cost number in order to claim. The call costs more than the ‘prize’. Any competition or Draw which requires you to spend money(apart from the purchase of regular goods, such as coffee) is usually a no-no. Genuine competitions do require some work otherwise they are nothing more than a raffle or draw, like the lottery. If there is an element of skill, go for it. And Good Luck.
