What free computer program will allow me to mark places of interest on a map?
Google Maps would allow you to mark places of interest on a map. I’m sure you would be able to do that by creating a map in “My Maps” with all of the locations you want on it. And if you only want certain people to be able to see it, mark the map as unlisted and give those people the URL. If I understand your question correctly, this should help.
