What formula does CarePilot use to calculate its Quality of Care Grade?
CarePilot’s Quality of Care Grade combines the ten home health quality measures tracked by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), with each given equal weight, into one numeric grade. The calculation is (a+b+c+d+e+f+g+(1-h)+(1-i)+j)/10. The 8th and 9th data points are inverted because a lower score is considered better than a higher score.
