What forms of payment are accepted at Mobile Passport Unit events? How much does it cost?
The passport fee is $87, which includes $25 for consular fees. The only acceptable methods of payment at a Mobile Passport Unit event are: a certified cheque, a money order (postal or bank) made payable to the Receiver General of Canada, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. Payment by cash or debit is NOT accepted on site. If you wish to use a credit card, please ensure that you fill out the credit card portion of the application form beforehand in order to speed up the process at the event.
