To view what forms of model import you are licensed for, start MSC.Nastran for Windows and go to Help/About…/Options. This menu lists what Pre/Post Processor and model import options you have. The solver or MSC.Nastran options are listed in the licnese.dat of the flexlm license. You may view the license.dat directly or us the lmutils to see the available options. The most useful lmutils are lmdiag and lmstat. If you are not familiar with these commands or dealing with flexlm it is best contact your system administrator or MSC.Nastran for Windows Support. For those that have some experience with flexlm, open a Command Prompt or Dos-Prompt and type: ‘lmutil lmdiag -c 1700@server_name’ or ‘lmutil lmdiag -c x:\path_to_license\license.dat’ If you require different option or feel you are missing options contact your sales representative or the person that last generated codes for you.
