If you are transporting Regulated property “for hire” from one State to another or the intent of the cargo is to go from one state to another, you must register with the FMCSA an MCS-150 or MCS-150B for your USDOT Number and the OP-1 Form for your Operating Authority. You may apply for both the USDOT Number and Operating Authority on the Internet at www.fmcsa.dot.
