I’ve only heard a few. I have heard that you cannot eat papaya in the first trimester, but even though I have read several articles would think to ask your doctor about it. Some fish are not recommended such as swordfish as it is higher in mercury, but some fish is good as they contain omega 3’s, If you eat deli meat or hot dogs etc make sure it is cooked until steaming as it destroys the bacteria called listeria. Do not eat any raw fish such as sushi or raw oysters, or any other raw fish, or undercooked meats as these contain bacteria as well. Unpasteurized cheeses you should not eat either. Also, I would ask your doctor what foods to not eat. There is not a whole lot you cannot eat. You might eat less of spicy foods (not to do anything with the baby) as this can bring on morning sickness or give you terrible heartburn. It is recommended that you get 300-500 more calories than your daily intake (if you have a balanced diet to begin with) and breastfeeding moms around 500 more calories
