What foods can I eat to replace bread, pasta etc for a healthy diet?
To be honest, replacing these foods is not a problem, it is just reducing the amount of carbohydrates (bread, rice, etc). Carbohydrates are not known as “essential” as protein and fats are; but they are very much needed as without these there are many adverse effects. You will lose loads of weight if you cut them out of you diet but as soon as you start eating them again you will put on the weight you have lost and also probably much more. Cut down on carbohydrates. Only eat them at lunch time and not at dinner because people do not usually need the additional energy in an evening. Cut down on meat slightly and have a plate which consists of mainly veg. Snack on fruit and always have breakfast. It is a common misconception that if you skip breakfast you will lose weight quicker but in reality when it comes to lunch it has been shown that people eat much more. Hope this helps.
