What foods and drinks can set a stomach ulcer off?
Caffeinated drinks definitely increases acid production so it can exacerbate an ulcer. Milk products due to its protein and calcium can cause an increase of acid production although it has a soothing effect up to 1 hour after drinking milk. Obviously, acidic foods like those with vinegrette added can also cause stomach ache.
First of all you have to be very sure that you have an ulcer and not contacted any infection which is causing you the pain.I case of ulcer you have to go for dieting habit first,avoid junk and oily food,fatty food and reduce intake of sugar much as possible.I have heard that aloe vira juice is good for your stomach,maintain these and see whether there is any improvement.Do not do away with medication right away if you are under medication.
