I host a holiday party at my home yearly. My guest count averages around 100ppl. Fortunately I own a bakery and therefor have a commercial kitchen to work in for the food preparation. However there are lots of easy things you can do to make throwing your party simpler. Search the Internet for items that can be assembled and frozen, then all you have to do is bake off day of party. You can also do items like Beef or Pork Tenderloin, rub with garlic, salt, and pepper, pan sear then finish on the grill. Slice on the bias and plate with a basket of sliced dinner rolls and horseradish and mustard on the side. This is a great item to serve if alcohol is being served. Cheese platters do ok but keep the cheeses simple and recognizable. Filled palmier are always great as they can be made ahead of time, frozen, then sliced and baked day of party. Chicken salad is great to serve, easy to make, and can be done quickly. Don’t feel like cooking chicken for your chicken salad, buy rotisserie chickens
