What food shouldnt i give my blue and gold macaw?

He can eat almost everything you eat as long as there is no added salt and not a lot of sugar. He can eat any kind of meat, chicken or fish. They love pasta, you can give it to him with a little sauce, but they are messy with it. No chips or candy, but a few pretzels with the salt knocked off of it are ok. Don’t feed him too much fatty food, including sunflower seeds…his diet should be pellets for the best nutrition. With pellets you don’t have to worry about giving them vitamin supplements. Feed the plain pellets, though. Many birds that are given fruit flavored pellets pick out their favorites and the rest go to waste. You do not have to get rid of your teflon….I use it every day around my birds. You just have to be careful not to let a plain teflon pan or skillet over heat with nothing in it….like pre
