What food safety training courses are available in Slough?
Slough Council’s Food Safety Team organise ‘Food Safety Management Training’ courses for local food business managers which provides structured and practical advice on preparing HACCP documentation and process charts. Included, as part of this training, is a free advisory visit to your premises and guidance on tailoring the HACCP to your specific food business. We also run the level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering training course on a monthly basis. This course is designed for ALL food handlers, managers and proprietors of food catering businesses, and aims to give candidates a fundamental knowledge of the basic principals of food hygiene. This course replaces the previous Basic/Foundation food hygiene certificate. On successfully completing the training and short multiple choice exam, candidates are awarded a nationally recognised CIEH level 2 award certificate in food safety in catering.
