What fish would go in a 10 gallon aquarium?

A 10g is a very small tank in fish tank standards and therefore needs to be stocked VERY carefully. Goldfish are out as they need much larger tanks and are huge waste producers. You also need to put your tank through the nitrogen cycle first before it’s ready for fish, that takes 2-6 weeks to complete. For stocking a 10 gallon see here: http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/10_Gallon Nemo is a Clownfish, a saltwater fish and difficult to care for, not suitable for beginners nor a 10 gallon. The only fish that comes close to looking like one of those in freshwater is an albino Tiger Barb: http://www.seamatetrading.com/images/pro… HOWEVER, Tiger Barbs get about 2.5″, can be horrendous fin nippers and need to be kept in a shoal of at least 6-8, and a 10g is too small for that, for a shoal of those you’d need at least a 30-40 gal
