What fish would get along with a pictus catfish or tiger barbs?
Well, it depends. If you have 6 or more tiger barbs, many fish get along with them as they will keep their “bickering” to themselves. Also, how big is your pictus? I’m going to assume the worst: you’ve got less than 6 barbs and the pictus is 5 inches long. Some kind of peaceful to semi-aggressive fish would work, as long as it wouldn’t fit into the pictus’ mouth. first off, get more tiger barbs until your total is at least 6. Then, try adding in the semi-aggressive to peaceful fish (some gouramis fit this bill, like the dwarf and honey gouramis).
