What Fireworks Are Legal In Florida?
Florida statutes prohibit most fireworks, but numerous exceptions and gray areas in the law still allow the sale of banned fireworks within the state. Many vendors are using loopholes that allow them to sell the fireworks – but the loopholes do NOT make it legal to USE the fireworks. As a rule of thumb, only sparklers are permitted for private, recreational use. Anything that flies or explodes is illegal. Under the guidelines, bottle rockets, Roman candles and firecrackers are banned.
