Ever-Shake can be installed to meet a Class “A” or Class “B” roof installation. Ever-Shake must be installed over a spaced filled in deck (maximum ” spacing) or solid (1/2″ plywood 7/16″ O.S.B.) deck in order to meet a Class “A”. Specifications for a Class “B” installation, Ever-Shake can be installed over spaced sheathing as long as the spaced sheathing does not exceed 10″ on center and provides wood under the correct nailing location on each shake. In both applications, a multiple felt system consisting of a 36″ Type 30 lb. underlay as well as a 18/22″ Type 30 lb. interlay is used.
