What fire protection class is the X-BLOCK in?
Fire protection requirements getting stricter and stricter, especially in the fair stand construction sector. The X-BLOCK is in fire protection class B2, which wasn’t always acceptable to al trade fair organisers in the past. This is why it wasn’t possible to implement all projects with the X-BLOCK. As a result, we decided to search for another solution: We have inserted a metal brace in each of the grooves on the X-BLOCK, which are spaced 20 cm apart. This creates a metal grid that prevents the X-BLOCK wall from collapsing or tipping over in the event of fire. This construction led to the acceptance of fire protection class B2 and now all projects can be realised.
