What financial support has to be provided for the children?
Child Support is paid to the resident parent by the other parent. An administrative assessment is usually obtained from the Child Support Agency, and is based on the payer’s taxable income. In practical terms, parents often make their own financial arrangements, particularly when private school expenses have to be covered. It is very common for parties not to rely on the administrative assessment and to enter into a Child Support Agreement.
