A. RICAR is not only a document management system, but a versatile content management system that is able to support any files you would encounter in your office. Any file format including but not limited to, TIFF, JPEG, PDF, MP3, MP4, WAV, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, will reside within RICAR. Again, ANY FILE TYPE — you name it, we support it. RICAR’s FreeView search and retrieval desktop software will natively view TIFF, PDF, JPEG and ERM/COLD files within; other file formats are launched off into their native application supported on the client (i.e., .doc files will launch into Microsoft Word, .xls files will launch into Microsoft Excel, etc.).
