What file formats are the easiest to print?

Pretty much any common format is fine (Illutrator .ai, PowerPoint .ppt, Acrobat .pdf, Photoshop .psd, TIFF, JPG, etc.). If you’re having troubles, it is a good idea to convert your file to PDF before sending it to the printer. Common problems people run into include converting or missing fonts and weird, imported image formats. Make sure the font files you use with your design are installed on the machine you are printing from or are properly embedded in your design file. Your design file should embed them, but it doesn’t always happen for some reason. Another common problem is errors while importing images and graphs. If your importing images into your design, use JPGs or TIFs. Often, charts/graphs directly imported from Powerpoint don’t convert well through distiller or when the printer converts your file to PostScript.
