If you wish to use .DV, .AVI, or .MOV files, it is best that the video is formatted at 720×480, 29.97 Frames per second for NTSC (North America) and 720×576, 25fs for PAL (Europe), and the audio is uncompressed 16 bit with a 48Khz sample rate for both NTSC and PAL.
