What figure will be used as the basis for the Official Plan review?
Three growth scenarios were prepared, producing low, medium (Reference Projection) and high levels of population growth. The proposed “Reference Projection”, subject to consultation and Council approval, would become the basis for the Official Plan review. While it is lower than the projection contained in the current plan, it is still optimistic about Ottawa’s future.
