ODE will use the SSID number to compare one district’s ADM submittals to other districts submittals. As part of this check, ODE has to determine if the SSID number has been merged or split thus allowing an accurate comparison. In addition, for years ODE has been validating all student collections against the SSID system and checks several data elements to see that an SSID number matches other demographic information. As ADM records are validated, they are checked against the SSID system and checked for merged or split record information.
