What field support does ELIC provide for teachers and their families?
ELIC values team health and the well-being of all our teachers on the field. ELIC provides pre-field resources to help aid your family’s adjustment to overseas living, and several staff members take the role of providing family support on the field. Each team receives regular visits from staff members who observe classes and meet one-on-one with team members to discuss any team-related or individual issues. Staff will also meet with the team as a whole and give counsel when necessary, and each family receives an annual visit from staff trained in family care. ELIC provides childcare during teacher orientation and a comprehensive children’s program during the Annual Thailand Conference that all ELIC teachers and their families attend.
