What field of psychology would cover the areas of micro expressions?
Paul Ekman has done mostly research on emotions and their relation to facial expressions and body language. By training, he is a clinical psychologist. His work with micro expressions lies mostly in the field of social psychology, as both behavior and emotion are relatively common topics in social psychology. If you’re studying the link between behavior and emotion, then it would therefore fall under the category of social psychology. Just do you know, it’s never too soon to start thinking about college. Also, I’m not sure of any colleges where you would be able to select a major in social psychology. I called myself a social psychology major during my undergrad work, but I was actually a double-major in sociology and psychology (with an economics minor). Ekman has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, I have a Ph.D. in Social-Organizational psychology, and you will probably need some sort of higher education as well. Perhaps not a Ph.D., but at least a masters if you want to do any sort of
